Email and Correspondence

In the normal course of business, we may request or otherwise become aware of your name, email address, telephone number, organisation and possibly further details such as your home or workplace location. The acquisition of such data during normal business exchange and correspondence does not require specific consent, and where such information is gathered, it would be used solely to communicate with you on a professional basis. You have the right to see, amend and/or delete all the data we might hold and we will comply as quickly as we can, and certainly within the one month timescale required by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). VGS UK Limited makes no charge for such requests, however we retain the right to charge for or to refuse requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive. With the exception of requests or orders under law, we do not provide your data for use by any third party.

Our Warranty

VGS offer a 3 year 30,000 miles guarantee on all there work providing the car is services once a year or 10,000 (whichever falls soonest) with VGSuk LTD.
Failing to keep up the service with VGS will result in the warranty period being reduced to 1 year 10,000 (whichever falls soonest).

The Lawful Bases as defined in the UK GDPR under which we process data are variously that of Consent, Contract and/or Legitimate Interest. VGSuk Ltd Loan Car Agreement

The Customer: The private individual or company as specified in Section 1 of this Agreement.
The Supplier: VGSuk Ltd (VGS).
The Vehicle: The vehicle described in the ‘Vehicle Details’ section of this Agreement.
Any reference to "me" means the person using the loan car.
Terms & ConditionsIn accepting this vehicle, I acknowledge that it is the property of VGSuk Ltd and is provided to me on loan subject to the following conditions: VGSuk Ltd will arrange my insurance; however, I understand I am responsible for a £1000 excess.
Alternatively, I may arrange and maintain at my expense comprehensive insurance cover with an insurance company of my choosing for the vehicle whilst in my possession, and I will provide proof of cover to VGS before I use the vehicle.
I accept full responsibility for any uninsured loss or damage, however such loss or damage occurs.
In the event of an accident I will report the incident immediately to VGS and will complete an accident report form at the premises of VGS.
Any necessary repair work will be carried out by VGS and paid for by me upon receipt of invoice.
I confirm that I am over 25 and under 81 years of age, suffer from no physical or mental impairment affecting my ability to drive, and have held a valid UK driving licence applicable to the vehicle for at least 12 months.
I have not accumulated more than 9 penalty points in the last 3 years, nor have I been disqualified from driving in the last 5 years.
I accept that any motoring or traffic offences, toll charges, penalties and fines arising in relation to the vehicle for the duration of the loan are my sole responsibility under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and/or any subsequent relevant legislation.
I will indemnify VGS forthwith for any penalties, fines, legal fees, costs, interest or other charges paid by them in relation to any such motoring or traffic offences or toll charges.
I hereby irrevocably consent to any such charges, including an administration fee of £37.50 plus VAT, being charged to the credit/debit card provided.5a.
Transfer of Liability for PenaltiesI expressly authorise VGSuk Ltd to disclose my name, address, and driving licence details to the relevant issuing authority, enforcement agency, or their appointed agents for the purpose of transferring liability for such penalties into my name, in accordance with the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988, the Traffic Management Act 2004, and any subsequent legislation.
I will not drive the vehicle more than the allowable daily mileage unless by prior agreement. If I do, I will accept a charge of £1.34 plus VAT per mile in excess of the agreed mileage.
I will replace all fuel used during the loan period, or be invoiced for it at a cost of the current rate as of the date of the loan plus VAT per litre, plus an administration fee of £37.50 plus VAT, which may be charged to my credit/debit card.
I will pay for any loss/damage as a result of not using the correct fuel.
I agree that the vehicle is only insured to be driven by the person(s) named above who have signed this form and will only be used for social, domestic and pleasure purposes and/or for my own business purposes excluding use for hire and reward, taxi or courier business purposes.
I will indemnify VGS in full against any and all claims, costs and expenses arising out of driving the vehicle by any other persons.I will not enter into any other agreement with any third party to further hire or loan the vehicle.
I understand the vehicle's controls and agree not to disengage any of the passive safety features and to leave it secured at all times with the keys removed.
I understand that failure to do so will leave me fully liable for the value of the vehicle.
I agree not to use the vehicle for towing, track or off-road purposes, and not to take the vehicle outside the UK and Eire.
I will return the loan vehicle at the end of the agreed loan period, or whenever requested, and agree to pay £50 plus VAT per day if the vehicle is not returned within 1 hour of the agreed time, plus a storage charge of £25 plus VAT per day for any vehicle left upon our premises.
I will not smoke or allow animals in the vehicle, and I will return the vehicle in a clean and serviceable condition.
I agree to pay £50 plus VAT for cleaning if this condition is not met.
